Implementation Projects

Purpose: To deploy an SAP system for a company for the first time.

Sub-types:
Greenfield: A fresh, from-scratch implementation.
Brownfield: A modification of an existing SAP implementation.
Bluefield: A hybrid approach combining elements of Greenfield and Brownfield.

2. Support and Maintenance Projects
Purpose: To maintain and operate an already live SAP system.
Description: Involves handling daily user tickets, change requests, and providing ongoing support to ensure the system runs smoothly.

3. Upgrade/Conversion Projects
Purpose: To move from an older SAP system to a newer version or release.
Description: These projects focus on updating the existing SAP environment, which can be a smaller-scale effort compared to a full implementation.

4. Rollout Projects
Purpose: To implement an existing SAP system in new locations or business units.
Description: This involves adapting the system for country-specific requirements or expanding it to new regional operations.

5. Enhancement Projects
Purpose: To add new functionalities or features to an existing SAP system.
Description: These projects customize the SAP system to meet evolving business needs by modifying or extending existing functionalities.

6. Development Projects
Purpose: To create new custom software or modify existing functionalities.
Description: Involves custom software development to build bespoke features that are not available out-of-the-box.

7. Migration Projects
Purpose: To transition from a non-SAP system or a different SAP version to a new SAP system.
Description: This focuses on moving data and processes from one platform to another, often involving a complete overhaul of the existing infrastructure.

8. Integration Projects
Purpose: To connect the SAP system with other software and applications.
Description: Ensures seamless data flow and interoperability between SAP and other business systems.
